*Just a friendly reminder that our Nigeria @ 66 Independence Day Celebration will take place on Wednesday, 30th September 2026, by 9:30am at The Learning Tree Crèche & Academy!* 💚🤍💚

We encourage our little stars to come dressed elegantly in beautiful Nigerian native and cultural attire as we celebrate the rich diversity and heritage of our great nation. ✨

As part of the celebration, we will also be showcasing Nigeria’s rich culinary heritage. Parents are kindly reminded to check with the Front Desk for the food item assigned to them.

🍲 Kindly bring a small portion sufficient for about two people, properly covered in a foil plate/container. The food will be used to help the children see, learn about and appreciate the variety of Nigerian cuisines and cultures.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 *Only Mums and Dads are invited to attend the celebration.*

Dear Learning Tree Parents and Guardian,

We’re back! And what a wonderful feeling it is to begin another exciting chapter together! 🎉

Today, our classrooms are coming alive once again with curious minds, happy voices, new friendships, familiar faces and countless possibilities waiting to unfold.

To our returning families, welcome back! 💛

And to the families joining the Learning Tree community for the first time, a very special welcome to you! We are delighted to have you with us.

We know that the first day can bring different emotions. Some children may confidently run through the doors, while others may need a little more time, reassurance and cuddles before they settle. Some may be excited, some quiet, and some may have a few tears.

Every child is different, and that is perfectly okay.

Our teachers and staff are ready to welcome each child with patience, warmth and care. We will give them the time and support they need to feel secure, settle into their routines and begin to see school as a place where they belong.

✨ And what a year we have ahead!

This year will be filled with stories, questions, discoveries, creativity, friendships, challenges, celebrations and moments that make us proud.

We want our children not only to learn what to think, but to become confident in asking questions, exploring ideas, solving problems, communicating, creating, collaborating and thinking for themselves.

Every day is an opportunity to grow not just academically, but as kind, capable, curious and increasingly independent young learners.
